The Item Extra recently talked with Elizabeth Wood, Office Manager at Guaranty Auto Sales & Service.
Q. How long has Guaranty Auto Sales & Service been in business?
A. Lorne Almeida started Guaranty Auto in 1979. The business has been in this location for about 20 years.
Q. What type of repairs does Guaranty Auto handle?
A. All repair services. We're a Massachusetts Certified Shop and we also do auto body work. We do light, medium and some heavy duty towing. We do standard services such as oil change, and we handle all types of repairs from brakes to water pumps to motors and transmissions.
Q. You Stress an Informed Customer?
A. An informed customer is always our best customer. We try to educate the customer when and more importantly, WHY they need a repair. We also try to explain the importance of vehicle maintenance...
Q. You're up on the latest repairs?
A. The employees we have here are great. We make sure they are educated on the latest in technology and procedures. We use estimator programs (Mitchell, Identifix, All Data), the latest in scanning technology for diagnostic purposes etc.
